Soya 65 | Soya Chunks Fry

Soya 65 is one of the famous and yummy snacks for kids and an excellent snack for both veg and non-veg.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soya chunks
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • water hot, as required
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • oil as required

Instructions

  • In a bowl take 1 cup of soya chunks.
  • Add hot water and salt. Mix a bit.
  • Close and wait for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, squeeze the excess water from the soya chunks and place them in a separate bowl.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, and chat masala. Give a good mix.
  • Add gram flour and cornflour. Give a good mix again.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the mixed soya chunks one by one in a batch. Deep fry them until brown. Repeat after one batch.
  • Serve hot!
