Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 1/3 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 10 gm butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1-2 pcs bay leaves
  • 1-2 pcs cinnamon
  • 2-3 pcs cardamom
  • 15-16 pcs black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Add 1 kg chicken
  • Add 1/3 cup yogurt
  • Add 1/2 tsp ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper powder, 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Mix well
  • Marinate for 20 minutes
  • Add 1/4 cup oil, 10 gm butter, 1/2 cup chopped onion saute till translucent
  • Add 1-2 pcs bay leaves, 1-2 pcs cinnamon, 2-3 pcs cardamom, 15-16 pcs black pepper and stir well
  • After 20 minutes add salt to the marinated meat
  • Mix well
  • Cook it for 10 minutes
  • Add the yogurt mixture and wash the masala and little water
  • Cook uncovered
  • Chicken is ready when the water dries up and the chicken pieces are browned
  • Ready to serve
