Blue coconut water drink is a thirst quencher during summer. Delicious coconut water drink with basil seeds mixed with butterfly pea flower and cucumber water is a very cooling and refreshing drink to the body! This delicious drink will be an absolute hit at any party. If you avoid sugar it will be a super healthy drink too.

The butterfly pea flower has so many benefits. It is known as a mood enhancer. It can refresh the body, boost energy levels and enhance productivity levels. Other ingredients, such as cucumber, basil, coconut water, etc have too many benefits too. It is a combo of healthy ingredients that will make a super summer drink.

Its charming blue color is one thing you just can’t ignore!

Blue Coconut Drink

Delicious coconut water drink with basil seeds mixed with butterfly pea flower and cucumber water is a very cooling and refreshing drink to the body!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 10-12 pcs Butterfly Pea Flower fresh or dried (dried preferably)
  • 2 pcs Cucumber small
  • 1 tbsp Basil Seed
  • 1 tbsp Sugar optional
  • 1 tsp Lemon
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  • Soak basil seeds in the water for 1 hr.
  • Soak butterfly pea flower in the hot water for 15-20 mins. You can use both fresh or dried flowers. Dried flower is preferable as a safer option.
  • Get rid of the bitterness by thinly slice one end and rub against the cucumber.
  • Pill the cucumber skin and grate the cucumber.
  • Take a bowl for the mixture. Remove the flower and add the blue flower water.
  • Using a cheesecloth squeeze the grated cucumber and add the cucumber water.
  • Add the soaked basil seed.
  • Add coconut water.
  • Add sugar (optional). Add lemon and give a mix.
  • Serve with Ice!

Notes

Dried butterfly pea flower is safe than fresh. For dried one, dry the fresh flower in the sun and then store it.
