Molida is a specialty drink that keeps the stomach cool. It’s easy to prepare, super healthy, and will surely cool you off on a hot day.

Molida – Traditional Drink

A traditional delight from Barishal – Molida is a popular summer drink. It's easy to prepare, super healthy, and will surely cool you off on a hot day

Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Puffed Rice
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Grated
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Rice Flour
  • 1 tsp Ginger Grated
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Wash the puffed rice in water.
  • Soak the puffed rice in water for 15 mins.
  • Finely blend the coconut.
  • Drain the soaked puffed rice.
  • In a bowl, break the drained puffed rice as much as possible with hands
  • After that add 1 cup water and 1/4 cup rice flour. Give a good mix.
  • Add grated ginger, sugar and salt. Mix well.
  • Molida drink is ready to serve.
  • Serve and enjoy!
