Vegetable Biryani
Ingredients
- 5-6 pcs cashew and almond
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1-2 pcs cinnamon
- 4-5 pcs cardamom
- 10-12 pcs black pepper
- 1-2 pcs bay leaves
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- salt to taste
- water add a little
- 1/3 cup sour yogurt
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 1 pcs cauliflower medium
- 1 cup Potatoes
- 1 cup Carrots
- 1 cup peas
- 1 kg rice
- 1 liter hot water
- 7-8 pcs green chilies
- 1/2 cup spring onion flower
- 1 tsp ghee
Instructions
- Take 5-8 pcs cashew and almond

- Blend using little water

- Add 1 cup oil

- Add 1 cup chopped onion and stir until translucent

- Add 12 pcs cinnamon,4-5pcs cardamom,10-12 pcs black pepper,1-2 bay leaves and stir well

- Add 1 tsp ginger, garlic paste and add salt to taste

- Add a little water

- Add the nut paste , 1/3 cup sour yogurt and stir well

- Add 1/2 tsp red chili powder ,1 tsp coriander powder and a little water and stir well

- Add 1 cup tomatoes

- Add 1pcs(medium) cauliflower,1 cup potatoes,1 cup carrots,1 cup peas and mix well

- Add 1 kg the washed rice

- Add 1 liter hot water

- Add 7-8 pcs green chilies

- Cook it for 15 minutes

- Add 1/2 cup spring onion flower and 1 tsp ghee

- Keep it under low heat for 15-20 minutes

- Mix and keep it under low heat for another 10 mins
