Pati pitha is a new and exceptional addition to the Bengali pitha tradition. As beautiful as it looks, it is very easy to make. Pati pitha is made either sweet or spice as a filling. Jhal pati pitha with meat filling is very delicious. For those who don’t like sweet pitha very much, they can try making this meaty, jhal pati pitha. Since it is made with jhal pur (meaty spicy filling), it is very tasty to eat. Pati pitha can also be prepared as evening snacks or during Ramdan as Iftar.
