Vegetable Lollipop

Vegetable Lollipop is a delicious and crispy appetizer made with mixed vegetables, potatoes, and aromatic spices. Shaped into attractive lollipops and coated with breadcrumbs, these crunchy delights are deep-fried until golden brown and served with spicy sauces. Ingredients

  • 2 pcs Big size potato
  • 1/4 cup Carrot
  • 1/4 cup Capsicum
  • 1/4 cup Onion
  • 1 tsp Green Chili
  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 tsp Red cili powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander
  • 2 tsp Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • Water as needed to make a thin batter
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Water

Instructions

  • Add 2 pcs (big) potato (boiled) and mash the potatoes until smooth
  • Add 1/4 cup carrot, 1/4 cup capsicum, 1/4 cup onion, 1 tsp green chili, 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Add 1 tsp red chili powder, 2 tsp coriander, 2 tsp breadcrumbs, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp salt
  • Mix well
  • Take a small portion of the mixture and create the classic lollipop shape
  • Add 2 tsp corn flour, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, water as needed and make a thin batter.
  • Dip each vegetable ball into the slurry and coat evenly with breadcrumbs
  • Heat a pan a, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp capsicum,
  • Add also 1 tsp soya sauce, 1/4 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp water
  • Cook for 5 minutes
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat and Carefully fry the vegetable lollipops until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  • Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce
